Pen and Paper
Have a number of state maps available, at least one per table or team. Also have note paper and pen or pencils should the resident want to write down clues or hints as game progresses. Then divide group into equal teams each team gets a map. Tell the residents you will give hints relating to the secret town or city, and they need to solve. Give hints such as North, south etc. capital, I- 89 goes through it, large lake next to it, etc. Be sure to judge by your audience if the clues need to be tougher or easier for your residents. The team that guesses the location first is the winner.
